Delivery is solved. The Sunday spent writing eleven plans is not.
A coach looking for a Trainerize alternative is rarely unhappy with delivery. Getting a programme onto a client’s phone and getting their numbers back is a well-solved problem. What is unsolved is everything either side of it: writing the eleven programmes, reading the eleven check-ins, and running the enquiries, renewals and invoices that decide whether coaching pays.
In ABC Trainerize’s own words
Personal training software built around delivering programmes to clients through a dedicated client app and tracking what they do.
“ABC Trainerize is a personal training software that helps you deliver customized fitness programs, track client progress, and grow your fitness business.”
Where ABC Trainerize wins
The client experience, and it is the thing coaches should weigh most heavily: a dedicated app that clients already recognise, a large exercise library built over more than a decade, and integrations with the trackers and wearables people already wear — a browser portal is lighter to adopt and it is not the same product.
Side by side
What each one is built around
No prices, no feature ticks, and nothing about the other product that is not stable enough to still be true next quarter.

| The question | Neoflow | ABC Trainerize |
|---|---|---|
| Who writes the programme? | NeoAI drafts it from the client’s profile and their last check-in; the coach edits and assigns. The draft is labelled while it is a draft. | The coach, from an exercise library and their own templates — a mature, direct authoring experience built over many years. |
| How does the client receive it? | In their own portal, in a phone browser, with nothing to install. | Through a dedicated client app, which is the centre of the product. |
| What happens to a check-in? | It is read: weight and measurements become a trend, and a stall is raised as something to act on, with a response drafted. | It is recorded and charted for the coach to review. |
| Where does the business live? | In the same product: prospects, follow-ups, packages, renewals, invoices and a forecast. | Client management and payments are part of the platform; the enquiry-to-client pipeline is generally run alongside it. |
| What about nutrition? | Meal plans drafted against the client’s calories, macros, preferences and restrictions, edited by the coach before assignment. | Nutrition tracking and integrations with the food and wearable apps clients already use. |
Which one you should pick
Stay with Trainerize if the client-facing app and its library are what your coaching runs on. Move if the expensive part of your week is writing programmes and running the business behind them, and you are willing to trade a native app for a portal that needs no install.
Every comparison on this site is written by the company on one side of it. That is why the other column quotes their own description, why nothing here is a price or a feature tick, and why the rest of the comparisons are written the same way.
What this changes
Three specifics, rather than a feature list
The programme is drafted, not duplicated
NeoAI writes the next block from that client’s profile, history and last check-in. You edit and assign. Nothing reaches them until you do.
The business half is in the same product
Prospects, follow-ups, packages, renewals and invoices sit beside the coaching rather than in a notebook and a payment app.
No app for the client to install
A link to their own portal, in a browser: plans, check-ins, progress and messages. That is a trade, and the concession below says which way.
The part that is genuinely different
Coaching software has historically been delivery software: a way to get a programme to a person and their numbers back to you. That is necessary and it is not where a coach’s time goes. The time goes into authoring — eleven blocks, eleven sets of constraints, every week — and into the reading that has to happen before authoring is any good.
An operator changes which of those you do. The block arrives written, against this client’s history and their last message, and your work is the judgement on top of it.
What "drafted" means here, precisely
It means the plan exists in the product, labelled as AI-drafted, and is not assigned to anybody. A coach opens it, changes what needs changing, and assigns it. There is no configuration that lets a plan reach a client without that step, and there is no setting that lets a message go to a client unapproved.
The coach is not in the loop as a safety feature. The coach is the product; the draft is the assistant.
The wearables question, answered straight
Neofitness does not connect to wearables or to the tracking apps clients use for food logging. If your coaching depends on that stream of data, this is a real gap and the concession above says so. What it does connect to is the coach’s side: mail, calendar, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube for technique videos.
How to check this page
The description of Trainerize above is theirs, read from their own site on the date shown. Everything else is about what the two products are built around. If something here has stopped being true, tell us — a comparison page that nobody corrects is a comparison page that is quietly wrong.
Questions people ask about this
Do my clients lose their app?
They move to a browser portal rather than an installed app. For some clients that is a relief and for others it is a downgrade, and it is worth asking a few of them before you decide.
Can I keep my own programming style?
Yes. Drafts are written from your client’s history and your own saved templates, and you edit every one before it is assigned. Coaches change something on most drafts, which is the intended use rather than a sign it went wrong.
Is there an exercise library with videos?
You upload your own clips and attach them to exercises, which suits a coach with a filmed library and suits a new coach less well. There is no stocked library of thousands of demonstration videos.
Does it take payments from my clients?
Invoices and packages are in the product; the payment arrangement itself is yours. Neofitness bills you for Neofitness and does not move your clients’ money.
